This beautiful centerpiece was hand formed out of stoneware clay. Hines has refined the age old ceramic techniques of pinching and coiling and given them a modern twist. She used a transfer technique to create the design with underglazes, and added glazes for contrast and food safety. The piece was fired twice and is also dishwasher safe.
